doesn't seem to be so heavily edited

and perhaps, even considering ideological differences, the four omissions deserve, and would appreciate, a RIP

"There is so much good in the worst of us,
And so much bad in the best of us,
That it hardly behooves any of us
To talk about the rest of us."

RIP BryanE...you will be missed brother

I tend towards a positive obit, unless their reputation is deservedly notorious and mostly placed them on the public stage to begin with. Some of the selections and definitely some of the content I felt were unnecessary. It's sad in general about World. Olasky ran a good ship but his latest hatchet job on Dinesh D'Souza this fall (w/ some freudenschade on the side) (forgiveness is selective I guess) was too much. I used to be active in the forums but I reached my last foolish comment about a week after the Newtown shooting. Apparently our Godless culture pulled the trigger. (The opposite of guns kill people.) I get that sometimes my comments smack of self-rightousness (thank-you IA) and am trying to scrub them out or and at least am more aware of it. I'm now like a reformed smoker and am having a difficult time swallowing some of the more breathtaking comments at times found on Worlds boards, though there are good folks there.

I really don't see you as "self-righteous", but since I've been accused of the same thing maybe I'm not the one to comment. And I definitely don't view most of your comments as "foolish", but all of us cross into foolishness once in a while. Truth be told, I enjoy most of your posts as they are thought provoking, and I would think you would have figured out by now that I sometime enjoy playing "Devils Advocate". "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain. "

Happy New Year, my friend.

>I reached my last foolish comment.
I read my last foolish comment would have been clearer. I, of course, am never foolish.
Happy New Year to you as well Bill.
